Ａ君には好きな子がいました。
とてもとても大好きで、彼女がいれば毎日が幸せだったし、
でも彼女には他に彼氏がいたから、それで毎日が辛くもありあました。

Ａ君は彼女が別れるのをひたすらに待ちました。
それで数年が過ぎていきました。



ある日、彼女からＡ君に１本の電話があった。

『今日さ、彼氏と別れたんだ。はぁ〜、なんかスッキリ！やっぱさー、歳も離れてたし、なんかその時のフィーリングで付き合うことにしたけどさ、やっぱりそういうのってよくないね。これから自由を謳歌できるっ！やった〜！』
って言ってた。


Ａ君は、それで決心した。
よし、今度東京に行く時に、好きですと伝えよう、と。
この機会を逃して、また数年待つのは辛すぎる、と。



そして、２週間後、また彼女からＡ君に電話がありました。
『あのさ〜、実は１週間前に１８歳の男の子から告白されたんだけどさ〜。その時は断ったんだけど、あれから気になっちゃってさ。明日の夜９時半から会うことになってるんだけど、その時に付き合おうかなって思ってるんだぁ。どうかなぁ。』
って。

Ａ君は絶句した。
しかし、『おまえ、この前フィーリングで付き合うのはよくない、歳の差をよく考えずに付き合うのはよくないって言ってたばかりやないか！』とは決して言わない。
ショックすぎて、頭の思考回路がフリーズ状態。

『ああ、そうなの。お前がそれでいいならいいんじゃないか。』
と、心にも無いことをいいつつ、電話を切った。


そして、４時間後には暴走機関車Ａ君の姿は、早朝の新幹線の中にあった。
彼女が住む東京へ向かっている途中だった。

朝から仕事があったにもかかわらず、仕事先には置手紙をして休んだ。うーむ、並々ならぬ決意だ。


そして、前日の電話の中の会話で、彼女が朝９時に高円寺の三井住友銀行に行くことを聞いていたＡ君は、その時間に銀行の前で待った。



『どぅわぁ！！Ａっち！なんでここにいるの！？』と数時間前に電話で喋ってた相手が、時空を超えて突然現れ、驚いている彼女に向かってＡ君は
『振りこみ終わったらあそこの公園きて。』と言伝してバイバイと別れる。


公園で待つＡ君の心は、年甲斐も無くギュゥと締めつけられていた。自分の心臓が、昔テレビで見た深海に沈めたバスケットボールみたいに、圧力でちっちゃくなっている気がする。

公園の駐輪場に自転車のブレーキ音のキュっと言う音が鳴り響くたびに、Ａ君の心臓もキュッと縮まった。



そんな、やべっ！来た！のキュを何十回も繰り返し、
彼女が本当に来たときなんかはそれこそ深海にいるみたいに耳がキーンと鳴った。
この時から、既に世界は無音状態。

『おっすおっす。おまえ、どんなけ時間ある？』と平常心を装ってＡ君。
『うーん、バイトあるから２５分くらいかな。』と彼女。
『ふーん。』

つって、結局言い出せずに１５分。世間話をした。

もう言うしかねぇって沈黙した時に、彼女が
『Ａっち、今日は何しに東京に来たの？？』って。

『おれさぁ、実はこの２５分の為に東京きたんだ。


　…なんで来たかわかる？』　と、Ａが言う。

そしてＡ君が予想していたとおりに彼女は『わからない』と言った。



『お前が好きだから。』



ついに言ったね。

そう言った後すぐに世界が音を取り戻して、落ち葉や、菓子パンの袋がＡ君を祝福するようにワルツを踊りだしたように見えたよ。
『俺お前が好きでさ。ほんっと好きでさ。乗っちゃった、新幹線。』もうあとは、決壊した堤防のように、溜め込んだ想いの洪水が溢れでた感じ。


あま〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜い！
あまいよＡ君。はっきり言って、１００人が１００人赤面する告白ですよ、こんなん。


しかもね、笑えるのがここから。



なんとね、Ａ君フラれたんですよ！
実はね、こんなけ恥ずかしい告白をするのには理由があって、Ａ君は、実は結構自信があったわけですよ。結構どころか、かなり自信があったわけですよ。
それの理由はまた超おもしろいのですが、それを話し出すともっと長くなるので、ここは割愛。

そんなこんなで自信満々で告白して
振られちゃったわけですよ、Ａ君！

To explain the situation in more detail, I must tell you about Japanese banks' culture.

Unlike the Western financial institute, Japanese bankers (maybe I should use the word "bank-clerk" instead) are trained in various department or business in one's junior through early senior days. In other words, everybody is expected to be a generarist.

Some bankers spend their first two or three years in mass-retail section and be transfered to the whole-sale section.

This is the part of Mogura's comment . And his suggestion is totally correct .

Do you know " sank cost " ? This is the cost that is good for a short run , but bad for a long run.

The Purple Heart is a U.S. military decoration awarded in the name of the President of the United States to those who have been wounded or killed while serving on or after April 5, 1917, with the U.S. military.

This means Kerry exprienced serving in a military , especially , the Vietnam War . It is a famous story he lost his friend during that war . In spite of this , Bush hasn't served it , so , Kerry tried to insist this point during the election .

The important thing is the situation like Bush is very common in the US . I heard that all the sons of the senators and the house of representatives in the US hasn't served in a military . This kind of politican has made an important decision , like , Iraq War , and a lot of US citizen , especially , poor people , has been forced to go to the war , you know ? We have to realize War always has this kind of aspect.

Yesterday , the new Prime Minister has appeared . I though a lot of news program here , such as , CNN or CBC , would report the details . But they don't care about it ! And " Anderson Cooper 360 "'s gust is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad , who is Iran's president . I watched " Bush vs Ahmadinejad " and " Anderson Cooper VS Ahmadinejad " and very surpried that Ahmadinejad is so clever . Indeed he has Ph.D , you know .
